How to spend my college life

When I first set foot in the schoolyard of Henan Normal University, I found that what I saw was rather different from what I ever thought about it. Sincerely, it gives me quite a deep impression and I’m addicted to its beautiful appearance. What I have known is that the university has a good reputation for its study evirnoment and school spirit. Then, I know, it will be a precious opportunity for me to obtain further education.

Maybe many students think that entering the university means that hey can be at ease in the new surroundings. But I want to say that it’s a wrong thought. Instead, I must cherish the golden chance. My plans are as follows:

First, I would like to say something about study. In my opinion, study is always of great importance whenever and wherever you have a desire to study. As a student of college of Literature, I realize that the pressure on me is excessively heavy. Both reading and writing out of class require a lot of practice. With the help of modern facilities, not only should I make most of these to study hard, but also I should read a number of books to broaden my vision. Discussion about the courses must be essential, so I will share my view with others every now and then. Lso, I will improve my english , especially spoken english and listening.

Second, daily life offers me a great challenge. It’s a first time I have been far away from my family, my friends and everything that I’m familiar with. Because I’m a shy boy, I need to overcome the burdens in heart bravely. I will take a positive attitude to my own life and practise my ability to live alone. I must do things all by myself if necessary and try my best to make my life in order.

Third, I must harmonize all kinds of relationship. University is a small society where all sorts of people huddle together. So the surroundings are complex for everyone and I must be adapted to them. I will get on well with my classmates and teachers in harmony. My tempter must be controled and I must stand on anything that seems unreasonable so that my character can be perfected. I will be willing to help my friends on all sides.

Fourth, I want to say, studying and dealing with matters are not the whole story. That is, taking active part in sports and activities can also be essential. These make me strong, optimistic and iron-willed.

At last, my goals must be planned. Goals are towerlights in our voyage of life, which present our directions and lead us to success. I plan to get two Bachelor’s degrees and pass the graduate students’ examination.

As the old saying goes, “Where there is a will, there is a way.” I believe that my efforts I can realize my dreams. A;so, “Words speak louder than actions.” Plans are not just said and I will prove them to all of you with my actions. In a word, only by trying my best to do everything well will I build a wide road for mu future.
