    杭州花圃始建于1956年，占地28公顷，位于西湖西畔的西山路，西门在洪春桥南黄泥岭，东门在西山路流金桥与卧龙桥之间，前临西湖，后倚西山，环境优美，布置精巧，以生产、收集和保存各类园林花卉及盆景而著称，被誉为“西子湖畔的一颗明珠”。新近落成的时花广场，面积5.5万平方米，是以“花”和“水”为主题，采用中国传统的比兴手法，全面体现花文化而营造的丰满灵动并具人文内涵的园林艺术空间。主要有花溪、锦鲤池、下沉广场、水花台、莲池、映花泉、散花台、静水池及涉水池等景区。广场上飞泉流水、乐曲悠扬，繁花似锦，绿草如茵，栩栩如生的十二花神遥相呼应，使您融于人与自然的和谐统一之中。
