Step1 Greeting and Revision (about 5 minutes)
Greet the students. Check the homework
T: Do you still remember the patterns we learned yesterday?
S: We do much practices to ask and answer questions using adverbs of frequency.
T: Good!
Step2 Dictation ( about 6 minutes)
T: After reviewing, let’s finish the activity 1a together.
T: Turn to page 12 and look at the pictures in 1a and the words above it.
Most of them are delicious, isn’t it? So, how to express these delicious food?
Let’s make a match!
I will give you several minutes to finish this activity.
After finishing the activity, ask someone to share the answer.
And then, check the answer.
Object: Make students be more familiar with the words by relating to pictures.
Attention: Control the time properly.
Step3 1b(about 10 minutes)
T: Let’s go on , Do you guys love drink milk?
Students answer.
T: Answers from you are quite various. I love milk very much and drink it every day. And how about Liu Fang? I want one of you to read the dialogue of 1b.
Students read.
T: Good! Now you know the answer. Then, it’s time for discussion!
T: Ok, stop here. Who wants to share your conversations with all of us?
Students share their dialogues.
Object: Improving the oral skills of students and let students know the importance of eating healthy food.
Attention: If students have trouble in pronunciation, the teacher should give some directions.
Step4 1c (about 5 minutes)
Read the instructions.
Play the recording. Ask students to answer the questions.
Correct the answers.
T: Let’s do 1c together. Please listen to the recording and circle your answer to each question.
After finishing the activity, ask someone to share the answer.
And then, check the answer.
Step5 1d(about 9 minutes)
Read the instructions.
Play the recording, Ask students to answer the questions.
Correct the answers.
T: You all did well actually! Ok, I’ll play the recording again.
T: Now, I’ll play the recording.
Play the recording twice.
After finishing the activity, ask someone to share the answer.
And then, check the answer.
Step6 1c (about 5 minutes)
T: It’s time for practice! Look at the activity 1e.
First, I want one of you to read the dialogue in this part. Please.
S: How often do you exercise? I exercise every day .And how often do you ….?
T: Good job! Now, it’s your homework, Find a partner. One is the reporter and another is Tina or Bill. Ask and answer question. Then write your conversations using the patterns we learned.
Step7 Summary and Homework (about 2minutes)
T: This class we’ve had a lot of reading, writing and speaking practice using the target language.
Please write down the target language in your exercise book after class. See you next time.
