Teaching Procedures:
Step1、Lead-in
Explain the context of Part A1.The exchange students are going to Japan .
Millie is writing some notes about their trip for the school newsletter.
Step 2、Read and write
Tell the students they will be able to complete some of Millie’s notes
by looking at the travel schedule.
Ask students to fill in  as many blanks in Millie’s notes as they using
information from the schedule.
Step 3、Listen and write
1,Play the tape through once without stopping for students to check their answers.
2, Ask students to volunteer their answers.
Listen for mistakes and mispronunciation.
3, Check the answers.
4, Complete Part A3 and check the answers.
Step 4. Speak up
 Present the following questions:
1. Where does Simon want to go on holiday?
2. Which part of Thailand does Simon want to visit?
 Ss answer the questions and practice the dialogue.
 Ss make up their own dialogues.
Step 5 Practice
 Ss do some exercises.
Homework : Review the contents of the lesson.
           Preview the Main task.
