辨析 ability, gift, skill, talent
Ability智力或体力上做事的能力,这种能力可以通过学习或锻炼得到,也可以是天生的。如果指智力方面的能力时,常用复数形式abilities.
Gift---

辨析:absorb, drink, suck, swallow
Absorb动词:表示对光、热、水、气、能量等的吸收,也表示吸引注意力,使全神贯注。
Drink动词:指饮、喝一种液体。Drink sth. in/up
(water)表示吸收、吸入水分,也可作“看或听得出神”解。
Suck动词:表示用嘴吸、吮一种液体,或把某种东西含吮在嘴里,也可表示抽出(液体、气体等)。
Swallow动词:指从嘴通过喉咙不经咀嚼吞下食物或饮料,也可用作比喻。
