Teaching Plan 1
Teaching aims:
Enabling the students to
1. know the items of the newspaper and magazine.
2. know sth about the news
in the reading material on Page 43.
Teaching steps:
I. Warming-up.
Bring some English newspapers to show the
students. And ask them to talk about the papers. Ask such
questions: Do you like any of them better? Why do you? or Why
not?
Now who can tell me which is the front
cover?
Which is the front page?
Please turn to page 41. Introduction.
Activity 1. Match these words with the numbered items in the
illusions of the newspaper and magazine.

Activity 2. Read these words and divide them
into these groups:
