  Las Vegas, Nov.21--- Fire spread from the kitchen through the Grand Hotel here just after daybreak. About 3,500 people were inside then. The fire officials said that more than 80 people were killed; most died from taking in smoke, and two jumped to their deaths from the 20th floor of the 26-storeyed hotel. Several hundred were injured. The fire spread through the first and second floors, but no one phoned the Fire Department. Very soon the thick black smoke rose 5,000 feet above.
