三、本节课的学习要点及考点
重点句型:
1. no one 和none 都表示否定,用法有所不同,它们的区别是:
a. no one 用不指人.含有not even one 之意,其后不能接of短语,用作主语时,谓语动词要单数.如:No one knew who took the book by mistake,没有人知道谁误拿了这本书.No one likes a person with bad manners.谁也不喜欢不讲礼貌的人.
b. none 不仅指人也可指物,其后常接of短语,构成 “none
of+名词/代词”,结构,当名词是复数时,谓语动词单复数均可.如: “I’m
sorry” ,he said to the class, but none of you watched carefully
enough.
Know/say for certain 确切知道/肯定地说.如:How much will the car cost? I can’t say for certain , 这辆车值多少钱?我说不准.I know for certain that Boby is at home.我肯定鲍比在家.
2.be surprised at/by 为….而感到惊讶,如:I was surprised at
sue’s outburst .苏突然大怒了,我很惊讶.be surprised to do
sth
3.这里是连词,意为 “一旦” “一…..便….”用来引导时间状语从句.如:Once she arrives we can start.她一到,我们就可以开始.
4.warn警告其结构有 warn sb ,to do sth ,告诫某人做其事.warn sb about/of sth ,警告其人关于其事.
Warn sb against doing sth 或warn sb ,not to do sth 告诫某人不要做某事.如:I warned him to stay there 我告诫他留在那无儿.warn ne of danger警告我危险. he warned us not to go out或 he warned us against going out,他告诫我们不能去.另外.warn sb that 提醒某人….,如: she warned them that there was a wolf outside the room .她提醒他们户外有一只狼.
5.no longer 不再
同义词组no…any longer表示动作不再延续,后接延续性动词.如:You can’t stay here any longer.你不在能再待在这儿了.
同义词组还有:no more ,not ….any more 表示动作不再重复,后接瞬间动词.如:Paul and Ann aren’t going out together any more. 保罗和安已以分手了.
6.be meant to do sth,应该做某事,特别是应某人的吩咐或根据职责.如:I think the police are meant to protect people.我认为警察的职责就是保护人民.
7.have an effect on…/have effects on…对….有影响.have no effect on….对…没影响,如:It has an effect on his family.那件事对他的家庭产生了影响.
