一 . 知识清单

二、常考点

1、situation

考点：situation情况；状况；形势；局面

   The company is in a poor financial situation.

   该公司经济状况艰难。

考例回顾：He was driving so fast as to get himself into a dangerous situation ___is likely to lose the control over his car.(07北京东城综合)

解析：定语从句先行词为situation或case, point等名词时，关系副词用where,强调一个特定的地点或场合。

2、concern

考点：concerned about  担心或挂念

     be concerned with  对…感兴趣的

     concerning，prep  关于

考例回顾: The comments that he made ___ marketing bothered his boss greatly. (07德州高三质检)

答案：D

解析：本句which he made 为定语从句修饰 comments， concerning 为介词意为“关于”。

3、so…that…

考点：so…that…表示“如此…以至于…在句中引导结果状语从句。有时so+adj/adv放于句首，句子要倒装。

如：So curious was the couple about wild plants that they decided to make a trip to Madagascar for further research. (05江苏)

考例回顾：     that Maric was able to set up new branches elsewhere.（07陕西）

解析：so后有形容词或副词，放于句首，句子应用倒装。

4、in order to

考点：in order to do只能表示“目的是、以便”，其位置句首或句中均可，否定结构用 in  order not to

     so as to既表示目的又可表示结果，只能位于句中，不能位于句首，否定结构用so as not to

考例回顾：All these gifts must be mailed immediately ___in time for Christmas. (05辽宁)

答案：C

解析：所有礼物都要立即寄出，以便圣诞节前被收到。因为是被收到，所以用to be received。这是动词不定式的被动形式。故选C。

5、（1）have, get后接三种形式作宾补时，其中have, get表示“使、让、叫”之意。

  （2）have sb. /sth. doing使/让某人/物持续地做某事

          （现在分词表主动，正在进行）

        get sb./sth. doing使某人/物开始行动起来

  （3）have sb. do sth./ get sb.to do sth. 使/让/叫某人去做某事

如：①I must get the radio repaired.

②Let’s me try now I’ll get the car going.

③You’ll never get him to wash his clothes.

考例回顾：Jenny hopes that Mr. Smith will suggest a good way to have her written English           in a short period. （07福建）

答案： A

解析：have her written English improved意为使书面英语得到提高。

7、          It was/is the first time that…

It is the first (second…) that+主语+谓语（现在完成时）

     It was the first (second…) that+主语+谓语（过去完成时）

如：It was the second time that he had been out with her alone.

It is the second time that she’s rung you in a week.

 

考例回顾：It is the first time that he ____to join us in a research.(07郑州质量检测)
