南峰禅坐落寺在西安正南的终南山的一个山岭上，在山脊的几块平地上因地制宜，借着山势用石头筑起台基，大概能分为五处台基，每处建有一个小建筑，这大概是大家称之为小五台的原因吧，由于山顶地形的制约，每处佛殿均为面阔三间小建筑，现在的建筑修建的时间不会太长，以前是什么样子就不得而知了，这几个房子本身也极为普通，极为简陋，可是建筑的外部空间关系却十分迷人。对流线的限制，对空间占有，以及建筑的展现与隐藏，很有智慧，耐人琢磨玩味！（我抽时间要好研究一番）

这个禅院在山峰上，自然十分引人注目，在山间很容易被看到。往西南下面能看见金仙观，往北侧脚下看也有一处不知道名字的小寺院。我本来是顺着子午谷往山里面走的，结果一抬头望见雄踞在山顶的这处小禅院，甚是醒目，我就临时改变主意，溜达到这里，没想到在空间上、在地形的利用上，给我好多启发，真是一份意外的收获！我先把照片传上来一些，至于南峰禅寺的探访心得，还在心里酝酿呢，有了条理再写出来吧！
