此书第一版发行至今大约已有30年了。据此,不难估算出同济大学数学系每年的教材版权费至少上数千万元人民币,可谓“版权发财户”。
与此相反,Keisler“Elementary Calculus”遵循知识共享(CC)协议,放飞互联网,可自由下载使用。这是什么思想境界?国内数学界的腐败之风必须反对!

Purpose and Goal
Creative Commons(知识共享) has been described as being at the forefront(发展前言) of the copyleft movement(版权运动), which seeks to support the building of a richer public domain by providing an alternative to the automatic "all rights reserved" copyright, and has been dubbed "some rights reserved".[15] David Berry and Giles Moss have credited Creative Commons with generating interest in the issue of intellectual property and contributing to the re-thinking of the role of the "commons" in the "information age". Beyond that, Creative Commons has provided "institutional, practical and legal support for individuals and groups wishing to experiment and communicate with culture more freely."[16]
