4月26日，Ubuntu社区带头，kubuntu、Lubuntu、Edubuntu、Xubuntu,Ubuntu Studio,Ubuntu GNOME，依次都在世界Linux发行版官方网站（www.distrowatch.com）上亮相，唯独缺少我们的UbuntuKylin 13.04。这是为什么呢？

          3月11日，Ubuntu国际社区技术委员会(UTB)开会同时批准两个Ubuntu新分支：一是Ubuntu GNOME，二是UbuntuKylin。4月26日，Ubuntu GNOME 13.04发言人Matthew Butler对外宣布：“The release of Ubuntu GNOME 13.04, an official Ubuntu project featuring the vanilla GNOME 3.6 desktop environment: ‘The Ubuntu GNOME team is proud to announce our first release as an official Ubuntu derivative - Ubuntu GNOME 13.04.' …...”意思是：Ubuntu GNOME团队自豪地向全世界宣告：我们的第一款Ubuntu GNOME，作为Ubuntu官方衍生物，终于诞生了！这是何等牛气？

       麒麟的问题出在哪里？上下关系不顺，思想观念陈旧，导致对现状“无言以对”。可怜啊，小麒麟！这次无端“掉队”，使全世界的同仁们都在看着我们，也给Mark Shuttlewotch先生丢了面子，我们自己脸面上也不光彩。这叫我还说什么呢？！

            十分巧合的是，紧靠在Ubuntu 13.04发行版的旁边，中科红旗（Red Flag）大出风头，公司发言人对外宣布：“Red Flag Software, a Beijing-based software company specialising in the development of open-source software products for the local market, has announced the release of Red Flag Linux 8.0. This is the company's first major release in over four years”。意思是说，这是4年多来红旗Linux的第一次产品升级，......难道小麒麟还惧怕老红旗不成？因为，红旗Linux 8.0采用的是Linux 3.6.11内核，而麒麟13.04采用的却是最新版本的Linux 3.8.8内核。看谁能够胜过谁？

          Ubuntu麒麟开发者团队猛醒吧！为了国家的明天，追赶世界GNU/Linux潮流义不容辞！
