11月6日，今年UDS 2011峰会的文字总结终于发布了，请见“Ubuntu 12.04 Developer Summit Summary“。有什么”精神“好说？

      从全球IT产业的全局来看，今年UDS大会意义非凡，它确立了Ubuntu转向移动互联的前进大方向及其发展战略。Mark Shuttleworth的主题讲演的基调就是：Ubuntu on everything（即“Ubuntu无处不在”）。以下是Mark Shuttleworth在讲演的现场图片：.

       Mark Shuttleworth在主题讲演中说：“......to develop versions of Ubuntu and the Unity interface for mobile phones, more tablet-like devices, and even Tvs”，他提出的目标是：“......to see Ubuntu Linux on these new form factors in two years for the Ubuntu 14.04 LTS release”。

       会议上有许多发言涉及到ARM处理器，要求“bringing QEMU/KVM to the ARM Cortex A15, which is the next-gen ARM processor that is much faster than the A9 and offers up a whole lot of new capabilities”，会议瞄准了下一代高性能ARM处理器A15。

       会议决还定为移动智能电话开发一个专门的移动Unity界面，保留屏幕左侧的“发射栏”（所谓“Launcher”)以及“全息图标板”（所谓”Dash”)，其外观轮廓与现在的Unity界面几乎完全一样（不是Unity界面的简单“收缩板”，而是需要新的程序开发工作量）。

      会议热烈讨论了网络电视问题，认为：“MIPS hardware is big in this area, and while there is upstream MIPS architecture support in the Linux kernel, there is no Ubuntu MIPS port at the moment”，为我们的龙芯MIPS处理器登场埋下了“伏笔”。

      说明：11月8日（今天），在我国台北召开UHS硬件峰会，这又是一台好戏。
