这是一个很敏感的话题。说白了就是：为什么英特尔自己不要MeeGo了？前不久，国内不是有人还说：看好MeeGo是匹“黑马”吗？（请见：9月6日，陆首群发表的博文。）

        回答上述问题，别人的说法都不管用，只有靠英特尔高管自己出来说话才行。9月29日，在英特尔主持召开的”Elements 2011”大会上，英特尔开发者网络主管（Director）Scott Apeland先生在其主题讲演中说了两段话如下：

        1、“Tizen is an Open Sourced Project which is Standard spaced,Cross Architecture software project that is going to support a wide range of devices including Smartphones, Tablets , TV and IVI which will be hosted by the Linux Foundation. Intel and Samsung will be Co-Chairs of the TSG with an Open Governance structure. First version of Tizen expected to be released Q1 2012 with devices to follow mid 2012.“

        2、”Tizen takes the best of MeeGo and the best of Limo and adds a few more ingredients. MeeGo has a strong developer community and Limo has a Broad service provider and carrier support which meets their business model needs. HTML5 and WAC 2.0 will provide a software framework that will work across multiple software platforms which is the direction that the industry is going in.”

         这两段话的要点是：1、Tizen项目由《Linux基金会》主持，而英特尔与三星是其技术指导委员会（TSG）的副主席；2、Tizen吸取了MeeGo与Limo的精华（the BEST），......话锋一转，点出主题，他说：”MeeGo has a strong developer community and Limo has a Broad service provider and carrier support which meets their business model needs“，意思是说，MeeGo有强大的开发社区，而Limo则拥有广泛的服务供应商与运营商的支持，这完全符合它们的商业运营模式。言下之意是：MeeGo与Limo结合，并入Tizen计划是符合英特尔的商业利益的。在这个世界上，有哪个商人不为谋利而起早？英特尔自不能例外。由此可见，“看好MeeGo是匹黑马”的论断是完全没有根据的。
