我们仔细想想，Mint开发者说的也有确道理，方方面面都照顾到了，没有据功自傲，小瞧别人。Mint开发团队的目标是“to produce a modern, elegant and comfortable operating system which is both powerful and easy to use”，说得一点也不夸张，实事求是。

让我最佩服一点的是，Mint开发团队竟然敢这么说：“Linux Mint is free of cost and doesn't generate any direct sort of income. It is funded by advertising, sponsoring and donations（捐助） and although it is financially supported by its own community of users, its ambition（抱负） is to compete with projects which are backed by large companies such as Microsoft, Apple, RedHat, Novell and Canonical“，也就是说，Mint开发团队只靠他们自己的力量（就那么一点点资源）敢与微软，苹果，红帽等大牌公司玩一玩、比一比，令人佩服之至也！在这个世界上，还有什么人有这个胆量？我不知道。

Mint奠基人是一位法裔爱尔兰工程师，叫“Clement Lefebvre”，大家都亲切地称呼他为“Clem”，非常平易近人，精于钻研技术，确实是一位技术天才人物。世界各地Mint用户都喜欢捐助这个项目，捐助金额多数从1美元起，多的也有几百美元，每个月都公布捐助的帐目，清清楚楚，毫不含糊，比如，去年10月份，总共接受捐助5,283美元，比前年同期3,828美元增加了不少。美国人捐助的款项占捐助总额的40%，英国人占10%，德国人占8%，加拿大人占7%，法国人占4%，......我国人究竟捐助了多少，我不知道。明天上午，我准备叫孩子也捐助1美元，无非是一碗豆腐脑儿加两根油条，表示一下我的心意就是了。

在此，我向Mint开发者们致以真诚的敬意！想想Clem，某些人心中不觉得很惭愧吗？耗费了多少国家资源，你的产品何在？
