Dear Jonathan,

  How time flies! We haven’t seen each other for almost one year since you went back home. I am writing to ask for your advice on organizing an activity featuring English, hoping you can help me organize a successful event.

I ,as the student in charge, have made a plan that this activity will be held next month in our school library in the form of a drama competition. The aim of the competition is to arouse students’ interest in learning English and literature. The students will take part in this competition representing their classes. One class one team. What’s more, the drama they choose can be either English dramas or Chinese dramas, but all should be performed in English. I do believe this competition can not only enhance students’ English level but also improve students’ all-round ability.

  Mr. Jonathan, do you think my plan is practical? Can you recommend any dramas that are suitable for the high school students in China to perform? I would appreciate it a lot if you could give me some suggestions. Looking forward to your reply.
