Quote - Sex and the City
When you are young your whole life is about pursuit of fun, then you grown up and learned to be cautious. You could break a bone or heart, you look before you leap but some times you don’t leap at all because sometimes there is not always some one to catch you, and in life there is no safety net. When did it stop being fun and start being scary?
Later that day I got to thinking
about stock market and dating. Are they really that different? If
you have a bad stock, you can lose your shirt, if you have a bad
date you can lose your will to live, and if the date is good, the
stake get even higher. After wondering all the ups and downs, you
can one day find yourself with nothing. So when it comes to finance
and dating, I couldn’t help wonder, why do we keep
investing?
Later that day I got to thinking
about fairy tales. What if Prince Charming had never shown up?
Would Snow White have laid in that glass box forever? Or would she
have gotten up, spit out the apple, gotten a job and a health care
plan and moved on with her life?
No matter who broke your heart,
or how long it takes to heal, you'll never get through it without
your friends.
Maybe the past is like an anchor
holding us back. Maybe, you have to let go of who you are to become
who you will be.
