4. This way of dodging the horns of the dilemma sometimes gives peace of mind for a moment. 要理解这句话,就要知道一个习语"be on the horns of a dilemma(to be in a situation in which you have to choose between two equally unpleasant or difficult situations)"。这句话大意为:回避这样的两难之境,心灵可获得片刻的安宁。
5. take the bull by the horns: 这也是一个与horn相关的习语,其意思是"to bravely or confidently deal with a difficult, dangerous or unpleasant problem"。
