戴仲光，别名淡然，布依族，1949年1月生于贵州省兴义市，中国美术家协会会员，中国书法家协会会员。历任贵州省黔西南州歌舞团舞台美术设计。1985年任贵州省油画艺术研究会理事，1986年任中国书法家协会贵州分会理事，1986任黔西南州美协副主席，1990年定居北京，职业画家。1970年开始从事油画创作，1980年油画《觅句》参加第二届全国青年美展，同年油画《李清照》获贵州省第二届青年美展一等奖，1982年油画《布依姑娘》参加全国少数民族美展，1984年油画《太阳雨》参加第六届全国美展，1993年《古琴》、《澄静世界》、《有屏风的人体》参加全国中青年油画精品展。 小传编入《中国当代美术家辞典》《中国当代书法家辞典》等辞书。
