Due to the long history and glorious culture of
China, the Chinese people celebrate a great many
festivals which can be divided into the
following four major categories: national holidays
designated by the government to commemorate some special events;
traditional festivals - a reflection of the traditional Chinese
customs; ethnic minority festivals unique to specific Chinese
ethnic groups; tourism festivals associated with renowned Chinese
scenic spots. Various holidays show a window through which Chinese
culture and daily life can be seen vividly.
The national day is coming; most people are
celebrating the festival. Every five years there will be the
National Day Parade. On that day, many people from all around the
world will come to see that big celebration and the Tiananmen
Square will take new changes on those days. If you are interested
in china travel, you can take China Flights and there will be
excellent celebrations that are waiting for you.
The National Day of the People’s Republic of China
is celebrated every year on October 1. It is a public holiday in
China to celebrate national day. The PRC was
founded on October 1, 1949 with a ceremony at
Tiananmen Square. The Central People’s Government passed the
Resolution on the National Day of the People’s Republic of China on
December 2, 1949 and declared that October 1 is the National Day.
The National Day marks the start of one of the two Golden Weeks in
China. Spring Festival Week and National Day Week. Both of the two
holidays last for three days but by combining two weekends with
them, people benefit from seven consecutive days off. During these
two weeks, most people go out and enjoy themselves in a great
variety of ways with a resultant boost to the economy, hence the
nickname 'Golden Week'. Hotel rooms, train tickets or air tickets
will definitely be in great demand then. However, there have been
some recent controversies over whether Golden Weeks should be
kept.
The resulting seven-day holidays are called
“Golden Weeks”, and have become peak seasons for you coming to
china travel. On that day, many people come from all around the
world that are getting together to celebrate this big ceremony. In
the first few days, you can travel the places that people are
celebrated, after that you can travel to the suburban place, such
as: travel to Yesanpo, there you may eat the delicious roast whole
lamb, and horsing; travel to xiangshan, there you can see the
beautiful red leaves; to Shidu, you can take an exciting boat here.
And there are many kinds of travel spots that you never been to, so
if you have time, don’t lose the big chance.
The National Day is celebrated throughout mainland
China, Hong Kong, and Macau with a variety of
government organizedd festivitie, including
fireworks and concerts. Public places, such as Tiananmen Square in
Beijing, are decorated in a festive theme. Portraits of revered
leaders, such as Sun Yat-sen, are publicly displayed.
The weather is very good during the National Day’s
holidays, if you are convenient, you can make a good plan on your
China Tour. There are excellent surprises that are waiting for
you. I like to travel to island. Weizhou Island,
south of Beihai city, in southwest China's Guangxi Zhuang
Autonomous Region, offers an opportunity for visitors to enjoy an
inexpensive island tour. Weizhou Island is China's largest and
youngest volcano. It also ranks No. 2 on the list of China's top 10
most beautiful islands.
