Isabelle's nationality is  French , her nice house is in the alley of Beijing .so wonderful and incredible!

    She told me how to find this nice house :"When we moved from Washington DC to Beijing, we came for a few days to find a place to live. With a real estate agent, we visited a lot of American style villas and modern apartments. Without any charm. Then, he showed us  this Villas, which has some charm and is a good compromise : Chinese neighborhood but western comfort, very quiet place but in the city, duplex but with a small garden."

            Isabelle：胡同里的璀璨家园

    盛夏的黄昏，北京，雍合宫大街。步入苍天古树围合着的老胡同，沿着斑驳的老宅门一路走去，在一个狭小得几乎不能容纳一个机动车身的青灰路上拐来拐去，于一扇绿色的铁门前停步，沿着爬满了绿油油爬山虎已经不能分辨出青灰砖墙的“绿色幕墙”一直向前，在镜头感的光晕里，一不小心恍惚起来，以为时空交错，一头跌进了20世纪二、三十年代的老北京，跌进了一场有关电影的布景里。

    不错，就是这儿，Isabelle 的家。它淹没在北京现代化的大背景下，淹没在胡同文化琐碎的喧闹中，既像蛰伏了的灿烂，又似归于平淡的璀璨。在这里，Isabelle 和她的先生Jean-Jacques，这对法国夫妻，独具匠心地经营着它，为他们异乡的生活创造着一个临时的美丽家园......（全文未完）
