Wow… I’ve had so much fun in Beijing, I’m so stoked with the rock scene there. I can only pray to have this scene in Hong Kong.
***Special thanks to Lisa (in Beijing) and all brothers and Sisters who helped out with handing out the “Flyers”. Thank you for your support!!! I’m so happy to have met all of you, I really enjoyed hangin’ with you at MaoLive. Hope to see all of you again shortly!***
I’m so glad Ah Pak and Electric Orange invited me this time, without them, I wouldn’t know so much cool spots, I’d been to “ball house”, “D22”, Maolive and lots and lots of places for good food.
I’ve dumped into old friends, now I know where to get my hair done in Beijing, highly recommend “ Vajra” hair salon @ Zhao Yeung Centre.
By the way, I got to meet the “Yeah Yeah Yeahs” Backstage, I’m so grad to Ah Pak and Ocean and Ah Kap, they’re such nice people.
Yeah Yeah Yeahs totally rocked so hard. Guess what, I saw them again at the airport and had the chance to talk to them again. I’m such a fan, all nervous and saying the wrong things, I’ve shot the whole “Yeah Yeah Yeah” performance on video, wanna see it on Youtube? Ooh ooh ooh… and YYY was outsides of “Maolive” when I was playing, I freaked out when I know about it after but then again, I told them about this, Karen O was laughing when she knew we’ve played “Rich” in the club. I’m still jumpin’ about this, sorry!
Today’s recommendation: Go to Youtube and check out the band “Re-tro”, super cool band from Beijing! I met them through Electric Orange too! Yeh…..
Peace
Josie
