诗歌曾在去年7月7日MJ追思会上念过，这回是原作者亲念！

美国著名女诗人作家及民权主义者玛雅·安吉洛（Maya Angelou）6月22日举办了一场别开生面的纪念活动，请来迈克尔·杰克逊的粉丝，加入点彩画家大卫·伊兰的“百万歌迷画迈克尔·杰克逊”活动。活动当天，大卫·伊兰还帮助歌迷亲自描绘代表他们个人的一个圆点，在画布上的每一个点都代表一个真实存在的人。并朗诵了其创作的诗歌《我们曾经拥有他》（We Had Him）。

In the instant that Michael is gone, we know nothing. No clocks can tell time. No oceans can rush our tides with the abrupt absence of our treasure.

Though we are many, each of us is achingly alone, piercingly alone.

Only when we confess our confusion can we remember that he was a gift to us and we did have him.

He came to us from the creator, trailing creativity in abundance.

Despite the anguish, his life was sheathed in mother love, family love, and survived and did more than that.

And we laughed and stomped our feet for him.

We were enchanted with his passion because he held nothing. He gave us all he had been given.

We are missing Michael.
