河北省成人高等教育本科毕业生授予学士学位
英语统一考试大纲
为了客观地测试河北省申请学士学位人员的英语水平,保证学位授予质量,根据国务院学位委员会关于授予学士学位的有关规定,结合我省实际情况,特制订本大纲。
一.总则
本考试是河北省学位委员会为检测成人高等教育本科毕业生英语水平而组织的统一考试,目的是检验考生掌握与运用英语水是否达到了本科毕业生应掌握的知识及能力。考试采用标准化测试的方式。考试合格者,由省学位办发给合格证书。
本考试主要考核学生是否能够较好地用英语获取信息和传递信息。要求考生具有较强的阅读能力,一定的听,译能力以及初步的写和说的能力,使学生能以英语为工具,获取专业所需的信息。
考生可选择下列教材:
1)应试学位教材:《外国语水平考试教程—英语》(河北省学位办编写,河北教育出版社)
2)词汇测量标准:《大学英语新要求英汉双解词典》(外语教学与研究出版社2005)
3)自学教科书:《外国语水平考试教程—英语》配套辅导(丁丁老师编写,河北教参)
本考试每年夏季,冬季各举办一次,具体时间另行通知。
二.考试内容
本考试的考试内容包括五部分:词汇和语法结构,阅读理
解,完形填空,英译汉和写作。由于条件所限,本考试暂取消听
力,口语部分测试。所有考试内容要求在150分钟内完成。
第一部分:词汇和语法知识
本部分共50题,考试时间为35分钟。题目中的词汇和语法结构各占50%。要求掌握英语的基本语法结构和常用句型,能正确理解由这些语法和句型所构成的句子。
第二部分:阅读理解
本部分共30题,考试时间为50分钟。要求考生阅读若干篇短文,总阅读量不超过2500词。题材广泛,体裁多样。词汇一般超出要求词汇表时,则注明文中的汉语词义。
该部分旨在测试考生以下能力:
能综合运用英语语言知识和阅读技能,能读懂一般性题材的文章和科技文献。要求能抓住文章大意、读懂细节,能理解上下文的逻辑关系,并领会作者的意图和态度。阅读速度应达到每分钟80个单词左右。
第三部分:完型填空
本部分共20题,考试时间为15分钟。题型为在一篇题材熟悉,难度适中的短文中设置20个空白,每个空白为一题,要求考生从所给的四个选项中选出一个最佳答案。最终使短文结构和思想恢复完整。该部分旨在测试学生英语的综合语言应用能力。
第四部分:英译汉
本部分共6题,考试时间为15分钟。一般从原阅读理解的短文中选出若干句子,要求学生根据对原文的理解,将选出的6题逐一译成汉语,可直译和意译,但意译要求准确,书写要工整符合汉语的表达方法。该部分旨在测试考生的笔译能了。
第五部分:英语写作
本题共1题,考试时间35分钟。要求学生写出120个词左右的短文。考生应具备用英语书面表达思想的基本能力。所写文章切合主题,能准确地表达思想、语意连贯、标点正确、无重大语法错误,内容会涉及日常生活和一般科技知识。

Few natural dangers are more feared
than avalanches. Avalanches are a familiar part of European
history, particularly in the Swiss and French Alps. This is where
the direction of wars has turned almost instantly because of
avalanches wiping out invading armies.
