女王宫建于公元967年，尊奉湿婆神，是柬埔寨三大圣庙之一。由于建造古刹的石头全以红砂岩精雕细琢，故呈现出美丽的粉红色，虽然规模较小却是吴哥古迹中风格最独特和最精致的建筑群之一。
