Applicants for Young Investigator Travel Bursaries need to submit a letter from their mentor/supervisor along with their Curriculum Vitae to Kenes at (brain@kenes.com) by February 2, 2009.
The Niels Lassen Award is presented by the International Society for Cerebral Blood Flow and Metabolism to recognize an outstanding scientific contribution made by a young scientist. The recipient is selected by the Program Committee based on an abstract submitted for presentation at the biennial meeting of the Society, along with demonstration of exceptional potential for research in the field of cerebral blood flow and metabolism. The recipient
must be less than 36 years of age at the time of the Brain
meeting. Applicants should send a letter to Kenes
(brain@kenes.com
) by February 2, 2009 indicating a desire to be considered for this
award along with a letter of recommendation and Curriculum
Vitae. It is possible to apply for a Young
Investigator Travel Bursary and also indicate interest in being
considered for a Lassen Award.
