Recently, you received a letter in the mail indicating that you have been sanctioned for presenting an abstract as the first or senior author at at the 2009 Annual Meeting, Seattle,WA . I apologize as this letter was sent to you inadvertently. Our records indicate that you had withdrawn your abstract from presentation at the 2008 Annual Meeting, but that you notified the AAN before the deadline, and therefore, are still eligible to present at the meeting in Seattle .

While the AAN did receive prior notification, we strongly encourage as many accepted authors as possible to present. The competitiveness of the abstract process limits the number of authors that may participate.

Again, I apologize for the error in sending you this letter. Please disregard this; we will be sending you a formal letter in the mail next week indicating the same information contained within this email.
