　　火把之乡普格，有着厚重的火把节文化。普格县日都迪萨是火把节的发源地，是彝族阿都地区最负盛名的火把场，是彝人的心灵牧场，精神家园，也是彝族阿都文化的“源头”，被誉为“彝族文化圣地”。

　　7月27日一大早，村村寨寨的彝家男女老幼，身着节日盛装，带上干粮，赶车、骑马、步行或骑着摩托车，成群结队从四面八方汇集到海拔3200多米的普格县耶底乡火把节发源圣地——日都迪萨，参加一年一度的火把节选美、斗牛、斗羊、斗鸡、摔跤等活动。当天吸引了来自海内外的游客。

日都迪萨火把广场地处开阔的草原，四面环山，山上长满了索玛树和各种树木，周围有七个溶洞，几百个溶岩漏斗天坑，近十万亩湿地草场和原始森林。整个坝子都是一片湿地，齐腰深的水草长满其间。成群的牛羊膘肥体壮，悠闲地散落在草原各处，宛若蓝天衬托下的片片彩云。

　　这里不仅是一个原生态的火把广场，还是一个地造的角斗场。站在这个山坡上，整个火把广场尽收眼底。历经数千年，日都迪萨火把节依然完整传承着彝族火文化热情、勇敢和质朴的秉性，并衍生出极具民俗特色的庆典活动。

　　斗牛、斗羊、斗鸡、朵洛荷等活动让日都迪萨火把节充满古朴、悠远的民俗文化魅力。古老的爱情民歌依然在姑娘的黄伞下传唱着。

　　千百年来彝族人民在这里演绎灿烂的彝族文化，也在这里繁衍生息，火把节也在这里代代传承，并保存着原汁原味的风俗。近年来，为保护好这一璀璨的民族文化瑰宝，普格县委、县政府积极倡导和正确引导，彝族火把节得到了进一步的发扬光大。随着彝家新寨和精准扶贫的不断深入实施，彝族群众的生产生活发生了崭新的变化。
