此作品以母女间的亲情为线索。继行为艺术《开放长城》后，艺术家不再遮掩自身的身世，而让艺术成为自身身世的告白，并将作品集中到她母亲精神病的病因和她的非婚生身世。艺术家在自己身上扎针，来体验母亲针灸治疗的痛苦。

The artist was born out of wedlock, so her parents were expelled from the community. Her mother became mad because of this. They use acupuncture as therapy. The artist pricked needles to her body to experience her mother’s pain.
