已有二十八年传统的纽约一年一度 Museum Mile Festival，于六月十二日晚六点至九点开场。九家位于第五大道 82-105 Street 之间的全美最好的博物馆，包括纽约大都会艺术博物馆和古根汉姆美术馆，都敞开大门，免费开放。第五大道这段一英里长路段包括二十三个街区全部封闭，多家乐队分别在各个博物馆附近为公众表演，同时还有很多为儿童举办的各种各样的绘画活动及其他 high art 表演。这也是纽约最大规模的 High Art 街坊派对，每年都有五万多人踊跃参加。

我和太太提前两个小时下班赶去，这次主要想看看大都会博物馆今年刚刚装修好，重新开放的古希腊及罗马展馆。
