1 传唤当事人的传票(Writ of Summons)(加拿大)

 一般说来，summons和subpoena均指传票，区别在于前者多用作传唤当事人，后者用作传唤证人或证据，在加拿大或英国，传唤当事人多用writ of summons，而传唤证人或证据到庭则用writ of subpoena，但有时词组summons to witness也可替代writ of subpoena，用作传唤证人或证据。
