艺术品容易看到，但艺术家创作艺术品的过程，却不常见，或极难一见。

以下的这场艺术秀，会引领各位近距离地接触艺术家的创作过程。

Artwork is easy to see, but artists' working is not easy to see, even very hard to see.

But the following show will lead you to feeling the artists' working.

 

 

2008年10月18日下午三点到六点，在北京宋庄的韩燕画廊，一场精彩的富有实验精神的现场作画艺术秀正在上演。现场有两位人体模特，八位现场作画艺术家。

An amazing and experimental Live Draw Art Show was presenting in Han Yan Fine Art Gallery in Songzhuang Beijing,at 3:00-6:00PM on 18th,Oct. 2008. At the scene there were 2 models and 8 live-draw artists.

 

模特20分钟换一个动作。艺术家20分钟内完成一幅或多幅画作。

Model held one pose for 20min. Artists finished the drawing in 20min.

 

画家画模特，观者看画家作画。

现场有速写、油画、水墨、彩墨等画种。

There were quick sketch,oil painting, wash painting and ink-colour painting.

过程是好的，我想结果一定也会好。艺术家的创作过程是好的，我想其作品也会好！

The process is good, I think the outcome must be good. The artists' working is good, so their artwork should be good.

 

画家的画作完成后，当场即标价出售。当晚售出好几十张。

The drawings were put on sale at marked prices and sold dozens of.

有人建议下次可用拍卖的形式售出画作。

Somebody advises the drawings may be sold by auction next time.

The man in white is John Cacciatore, the representative of DSG and City Jigsaw. The one in olivine is Jin Xu, the representative of Hanyan Gallery. They organized the whole show.

现场作画秀最早是由DSG于2003年开创的，此次在韩燕画廊举办尚属国内首次。

Live Draw Art Show was opened by DSG in 2003. It was the first time for China to have Live Draw Art Show.
