The Past Event I Will Never Forget

    Father received a call from my mother taking care of my maternal grandma in the hospital. Then I was taken to the hospital by my father.

    Granny was seriously ill in bed. Mother said she had been in a deep coma for several days. But the moment I came in, she opened her eyes, though with great efforts. She got edema all over her body and was pale. Her teeth went black because of the medicine she'd taken. All these made me afraid. I didn't say anything to her or even walk close to her even though my mother asked me again and again to do that.

    Bad news came that my dear maternal granny died only one day later.

    I can't find a proper and precise way to describe my feeling whenever I think of this. But I'm sure it's not just regret for this. Cancer caught my granny away without any warm words from her granddaughter.

What I want to say here is: show your love to anyone you really care whenever there is a chance because the very chance may go away without giving you another one!
