今天是第二天，要练习的句型为“某物在某处”，或称“A 在B处”，A代表人或者事物， B代表一个地方，因此这个句型也就是说要表达“某物在某处”的意思。如“老师在办公室里。”、“那本书在课桌上”、“那只鸟在树上”等句子都属于这种句型。

这种句型的格式是
某物 + be + 在某处

可见，这种句型仍然属于主——系——表句型，其中某物是主语，be为系动词， “在某处”即为表语。

要说好这种句子，需要注意一个关键之处：那就是“在某处”的“在”这个含义通常要用到一些表示地点状语的介词，如
in...：在...里                                                   on...：在...上                                                 at...：在...处

over...：在...正上方                                       above...：在...上方                                         under...：在...正下方

below...：在...下方                                        beneath...：在...之下                                      beside...：在...旁边

by...：在...边上                                             in front of...：在...的前面                                 behind...：在...的后面

outside...：在...的外面                                 south of...：在...之南                                        on the left-hand side of...： 在…的左边

当然，由下面这些副词来表达“在某处”的意思，这时候不需要介词：
here：在这里                                               there：在那里                                                  upstairs：在楼上
downstairs：在楼下                                     aboard：在车上/在船上/在飞机上                     in：在家/在这里
out：不在此处

有些介词短语表示固定的意思，如at school： 在上学；              at work：在工作                 at home：在家
