Step 7  Voice your opinion  ( about 6 minutes )

In pairs, talk about the object: Happiness isn’t the same as money ( If thereisn’t enough time set it as a composition for the students to complete after class. )

Suggested answers:

Happiness isn’t the same as money. It is a feeling of heart. When you are poor, you can say you are very happy, because you have something else that can’t be bought with money. When you meet with difficulties, you can loudly say you are very happy, because you have more chances to challenge yourself. So you cannot always say you are poor and you are bad luck.

Happiness is always around you. When you are in trouble at school, your friends will help you; when you work hard at your lessons, your parents are always taking care of your life; when you get success, your friends will say congratulations to you. So happiness is for everyone!

Step 8 Homework  ( about 1 minute )

1 Revise the text carefully after class.

2 Think about how to give persuasion, especially the verbs and expressions: should, ought to; insist, demand, suggest; it’s high time.
