    黄道周《明诚堂自书诗十章卷》行草崇祯十七年（1644年）韩天衡氏藏 《自书诗十章卷》，未署年，仅署三月廿七日。考黄氏明诚堂，建成于一六四四年之三月，故知此为甲申（1644）年所书。又考，黄氏于是年正月初一，首次与弟子聚集于将近竣工的明诚堂，在是日或稍后有“赋五律甲申元日集诸友分赋明诚堂用陈宣子‘山川分动静，云汉合昭回’为韵，伏枕遂成十章”的诗篇。此卷法书末之题记与史载正合。这一年黄氏六十岁，距南明弘光朝召用为吏部左侍郎兼翰林院侍读学士仅半年。此卷法书圆融精严中毕显冷峭方刚之气，高华奇古而尽见濯古来新之格，是黄氏书作中的佳构。 此卷作于三百六十年前，距今整六个甲申，藏者既众，劫难亦夥，旧题皆失。而正本品相甚好，大幸。今钤记仅存张芹两印。张氏号香圃，曾任国民政府福建省财政厅厅长，诏安人。与黄氏为同乡，兼记及。
