状语从句主要有八类：时间、地点、条件、结果、原因、目的、让步、比较。其考点主要集中在引导词的用法。

1.) 时间状语从句的引导词主要有when, while, as, since, after, as soon as, before long, every time, whenever，the moment, in the instant 等

You see the lighting (in) the instant it happens, but you hear the thunder later.

It will be five or ten years before it is possible to test this medicine on human patients.

2.)  引导地点状语从句的有where, wherever

I kept the picture where I could see it everyday.

I kept the picture in the place where I could see it everyday.

3.)  引导条件从句的主要有if, unless, so long as, provided that,

I will accept any job provided that I don’t have to get up early.

I will not accept any job unless I don’t have to get up early.

4.)  引导原因从句的主要有because, since, as, (now) that, in that等

5.)  引导结果从句的主要有so that, so…that, such…that, in order that等

6.)  引导让步从句的主要有though, even if, even though, no matter, although
