如果明天永不到來

 

如果知道那是我最后一次看着你入睡，

我一定要帮你盖好被子，

并且祈祷上帝保佑你！

 

如果知道那是最后一次看到你走出家门口，

我一定要好好地拥抱你、亲吻你，

会叫你回头让我再看你一眼！

 

如果知道那是最后一次听到你大声地夸奖我，

我一定要录下你讲的每一句话和每一个动作，

好在我有生之年的每一天放出来看！

 

如果知道那是最后一次我可以多挪出一二分钟停下来

告诉你：“我爱你！”

我就不会假设你早就知道了！

 

如果知道那是我最后一次和你共度一天的时光，

我一定要让你觉得那是你生命中最美好的时刻～

 

我们总以为有明天可以弥补这次的疏忽，

而我们总是有第二次机会把每一件事情做好。

总可以等到明天再说：

“我爱你”，

当然也还有另一次机会问你：

“你要我做什么事吗？”

 

但是万一是我弄错了，

明天永远不会到来，

而我只有今天可活，

那我就要告诉你我是多么爱你，

而且我希望我们都不要忘掉！

明天不会许下承诺给任何人，

不管年轻或年老都是一样，

而今天或许是你最后一次机会

可以紧紧拥抱所爱的人～

 

所以如果你还在等待着明天，

那你为什么今天不做呢？

如果明天永不再来，

你一定会因此抱憾终生～

你会后悔那一天没有多花一点时间

给她一个微笑、一个拥抱、或一个亲吻，

你会后悔因为你太忙了，

所以没有答应他们的要求，

而那又刚好是他们最后的一个愿望！

 

所以，今天就把你最爱的那些人拉近身边，

在他们的耳边轻轻地告诉他们：

你有多么的爱他，

并且告诉他们你将永远珍惜他们！

挪出一点时间，说声

“我很抱歉”、“请原谅我”、“谢谢你”、“没关系”，

即使明天永不再来，

你今天也将毫无遗憾！

If I knew it would be the last time

that I'd see you fall asleep,

I would tuck you in more tightly

and pray the Lord, your soul to keep...

 

If I knew it would be the last time

that I'd see you walk out the door,

I would give you a hug and kiss

and call you back for just one more...

 

If I knew it would be the last time

I'd hear your voice lifted up in praise,

I would video tape each word and action,

and play them back throughout my days....

 

If I knew it would be the last time,

I would spare an extra minute or two

to stop and say, "I love you"...

Instead of assuming you know I do...

 

If I knew it would be the last time,

I would be there to share your day,

I'd be sure it was your best,

before it slipped away.

 

For surely there's always tomorrow

to make up for an oversight,

and we always get a second chance

to make everything right.
There will always be another day to say 

"I love you" .

And certainly there's another chance to ask

"Anything I can do?" 

 

But just in case I might be wrong,

tomorrow never comes and today is all I get,

I'd like to say how much I love you 

and I hope we never forget. 

 

Tomorrow is not promised to anyone,

young or old alike,

And today may be the last chance

you get to hold your loved one tight...

 

So if you're waiting for tomorrow,

why not do it today?

For if tomorrow never comes,

you'll surely regret the day...

 

That you didn't take that extra time

for a smile, a hug, or a kiss

and you were too busy to grant someone,

what turned out to be their one last wish...

 

So hold your loved ones close today,

and whisper in their ear,

That you love them very much,

and you'll always hold them dear...

 

Take time to say "I'm sorry," "please forgive me,"

"thank you" or "it's okay",

And if tomorrow never comes,

you'll have no regrets about today...

 

Why not do it today!
