五律　　新春访友

　　越谷冬风疾，

　　月圆友宅宽。

　　羊排煎满桌，

　　八海酌诸媛。

　　抒情人自別，

　　感怀意相联。

　　华灯醉眼望，

　　湖面映城山。

　　良种马与好马不吃回头草

　　a good horse will never turn round to graze on an old pasture。

　　好马不吃回头草：lit. a good horse doesn't come back the same pasture [idiom.]

　　好马不吃回头草：This is a Chinese idiom that means people who are capable will never return to their old negative habits, never regret the things they have done, and always to look to the future.

　　Description: Even though my old company wants to hire me again with a pay raise, I turned it down. The reason is　 A good horse does not look back to eat grass

A smart person does not dwell on past actions.
