马子恺当选中国国际书画研究会数字美术专业委员会副主任

3月31日上午,由教育部批准,中国国际书画艺术研究会主办的第七届"希望颂全国青少年书画艺术大展"南京赛区启动仪式暨中国国际书画艺术研究会数字美术专业委员会揭牌仪式在南京新华报业传媒集团新华全媒体艺术馆隆重举行。


该活动是全国中小学生书画大赛中具有权威性、专业性、公益性的一项赛事活动。参加本次南京赛区启动仪式的主要领导和艺术家有:中国国际书画艺术研究会会长、南京海关原关长李多宽;南京市人大副主任张俊;中国国际书画艺术研究会常务副会长傅志刚;原江苏省文化厅副厅长、中国画学会副会长高云;江南时报社社长、总编辑,新华文投总经理管云林,以及著名画家佘玉奇;著名书法家、篆刻家马子恺;著名书画家陈明、刘南平、翟优、项绪文以及社会各界人士参与了启动仪式。

南京艺术学院高等职业教育学院原院长郑春泉教授当选中国国际书画艺术研究会数字美术专业委员会主任,江苏省直系统书法协会主席、中国硬笔书法家协会原副主席汪寅生,江苏省书法院原副院长卢立彬当选委员会顾问,艺术家陈明、佘玉奇、马子恺、刘南平、翟优、项绪文等人当选常务副主任及副主任。

中国国际书画研究会数字美术专业委员会主任郑春泉教授向出席本次活动的领导和嘉宾介绍了数字美术专委会成立的意义与使命。二十一世纪是数字领域快速发展的时代,数字美术专业委员会的成立可谓恰逢其时。一方面积极响应国家数字赋能教育产业发展的主要目标,同时为艺术家、爱好者、以及全国青少年儿童提供一个全新的艺术创作方向与展示空间。让书画教育插上数字科技的翅膀,弘扬传统文化创新数字教育让更多人了解书画艺术魅力,走进书画艺术创作的殿堂。

Ma Zikai Biography
Ma Zikai is one of the most accomplished artist in contemporary China in the fields of calligraphy, seal engraving, poetry, and Chinese traditional painting. He holds many titles, some of which are: First Class National Art Master, Executive Vice-President of Chinese Calligraphy Academic Research Institute, President of Shuyu Seal Engraving Association, Associate Editor-in-Chief for The Compilation of Chinese Collected Books, Associate Dean of the Calligraphy and Painting Institute affiliated to the National Political Consultative Committee, and Vice Chair of Jinan Chinese Culture Promotion Association. He holds active memberships of Xiling Seal Engravers Society, Jinan Municipal Political Consultative Committee, Chinese Calligraphy Association, and Chinese Poetry Association. He serves as the graduate advisor at Shandong Jianzhu University and a visiting scholar at Peking University. He has worked at Beijing Capital University, Peking University, and the Chinese Academy of Fine Arts.
Ma Zikai is the author of over ten monographs, some of which are: Ma Zikai and His Art Works, The Confucius’Analects in Seal Characters, Proverbs in the Books of Changes, Essential Han Dynasty Seals, and many more. His biographical sketches, research papers and book chapters have been published in hundreds of books and journals. He has held over twenty successful solo exhibitions in both China and abroad. He has been the winner of multiple significant art awards, and his art works have been widely collected by art organizations. He has actively promoted traditional Chinese culture and has established Ma Zikai Art Museums in Beijing, Shanghai, Hangzhou, and many other places.
Selected Art Achievements
2008, Ma Zikai created a calligraphy piece titled “China Tea” for the Beijing Olympic Games.
2008, Ma Zikai Art Work Collection was published by China Academy of Fine Art Press;
2010, Ma Zikai had the first Chinese Contemporary Calligraphy work auctioned at the Beijing Auction;
2011, The Chinese People’s Congress Hall acquired Ma zikai’s works;
2013 and 2014, Ma Zikai created the calligraphy pieces Hello World, and Hello Future, which were displayed on the digital screens and billboards in Times Square, becoming well known among the greater masses;
2014, Ma Zikai created the China First Seal—Tai He Bao Seal, which first went on display at the International Creative Expo in Beijing;
2014, the documentary Chinese Art Master-Ma Zikai was being shown;
In October of 2014, Ma Zikai Chinese Traditional Seals was successfully exhibited at the Carrousel du Louvre;
2014, Ma Zikai was granted the Gold Award at the International Art Exhibition held in Macau.
In March of 2015, Ma Zikai was selected as cover person for the journal Beyond, along with the theme of New Days on the Grand Way-Ma Zikai Art Forum;
In August of 2015, Ma Zikai was granted the Gold Award at the Art Show at the World Expo in Milan;
In March of 2016, Ma Zikai was elected the Travel Ambassador of Jinan;
In June of 2016, Ma Zikai held a successful show of Global Exhibition of Ma Zikai Traditional Seal Art in Toronto, Canada;
In October of 2016, Ma Zikai created the “Art Forum on Chinese Traditional Seals”;
In 2017, Ma Zikai was invited to exhibit at the Art Capital at the Grand Palace in Paris;
In 2018, Ma Zikai was elected chair of the board of judges for the International Art Festival in St. Jose, U.S.A.;
In April of 2019, The Twelve Zodiac Stamps of Ma Zikai’s Ancient Seal by the China Post was first released at Clare College of Cambridge University along with the Ancient Calligraphy and Art Exhibition.
In April of 2019, Ma Zikai was selected as the cover person of the journal Poetry Circle with the special edition of Ma Zikai poetry collection Hearts to Ancient Legacies.
He holds the president of the Shuyu Seal Engraver Society, president of the Beijing Shuangxiu Academy of Classical Learning. He holds membership of Xiling Seal Engraver Society, Chinese Association of Calligrapher, Chinese Poetry Society, visiting scholar at Peking University,
was the associate chief editor for National Important books of Chinese Art Encyclopedia, Calligraphy Character Dictionary and Integration of Chinese Collected Books. membership in Chinese National Art Academy, Chinese calligrapher Association, Xiling Seal Engravers Society. He has held over twenty exhibitions in China and many countries and has been a winner of over hundreds of significant awards. He has his several of his art works collected by the National Hall of People’s Congress.
Ma Zikai He is a contemporary well-known Chinese traditional-cultural artist. After studying in Beijing University, then holding a post in the China National Art Academy, and as a member of the Chinese Calligrapher Association, a member of the Xiling Seal Engravers Society, he is now the executive vice-president of the Chinese Calligraphy Academic Research Institute, the president of the Beijing Shuangxiu Academy of Classical Learning, the Proprieter of the Shuyu Seal Engravers Society, the visiting scholar of the Beijing University, the academic chief editor of China Art Academy, and also the associate editor of some important books such as Chinese Art Encyclopedia, Calligraphy Characters Dictionary, Integration of China Collected Books. He has published more than ten monographs including the Compilation of Ma Zikai’s Art Works, Distinguished Seals & Engravings in Shandong, the Analects of Confucius in Seal Characters, Proverbs in the Books of Changes, the Essential Han Seals, Merciful for Mountain and Wised for River, with his biographical sketches and theoretical essays appeared in hundreds of books and periodicals. As a successful exhibitor holding more than twenty exhibitions home and abroad, a winner of many significant awards for more than hundred times, he enjoys a high reputation in and out of the art industry.
