Shopping
Frenzy

Fiona and
Cindy went for their Christmas shopping at Puzzie’s Gift Boutique.
It was on sale in the shop, hence they decided to empty their
pockets ‘a little bit’ there.
They
looked around the shop and chose three kinds of articles: lavender
photo albums, Sukar Super Sweet Packages and Connie’s Every Season
Magic Cards. Fiona spent 16 dollars buying two albums, one package
and one deck of cards. Meanwhile, Cindy bought an album, two
packages and a deck of cards for 14 dollars.
Just as
they were about to leave, laden with bags, a small voice chortled
at them, making them jump. ‘Hiya, Fiona, Cindy! Are you doing your
Christmas shopping? I’m just hanging ar---Hey! Sukar Super Sweets
Package? Connie’s Every Season Magic Cards? Wow! I think I’m gonna
land my hands on some, too!’
It was
Clementine, a tiny, cheery talkative girl. She beamed mischievously
at them. ‘Um… I guess I’ll need 3 packages and a deck of card. Um…
how much would I need to pay?’
Fiona and
Cindy had the great advantage of knowing the price of each kind of
product, so it was just a multiply-and-add thing. However, given
only the circumstances in the story, can you tell how much would
Clementine have to pay?
