My Brazilian tortoise

 Cracker is my three-year-old Brazilian tortoise. He is very naughty. He loves to wander outside. Maybe that’s because he hates to stay in his tank and wants to see our beautiful world. One day Cracker crept out of his tank and fell into the fish’s globe accidentally! The fish got such a scare that they dashed away in all directions. Fortunately, my mother discovered him and took him out just in time. If she hadn’t taken him out, he would have eaten up all the fish!

 Cracker likes to sleep, frequently, through the whole day. At times in spring, he crawls out and lies in the sun. That’s why I always call him an expert on how to enjoy himself! He loves eating, too. His favorite foods are fish and meat. Cracker eats naughtily, too. When he begs for food, I throw his food into the tank. He stands on his legs clumsily and tries to catch the food with his big mouth! Although cracker is naughty, he’s very lovely indeed. One of his most spectacular tricks is to turn somersaults! Sometimes, after I finish my homework and have nothing to do, I play pranks on him. I turn Cracker over on his back. At first, he doesn’t move. However, after a while, he begins to shake his body violently. Supporting his body with two legs, he turns over again! We like Cracker very much, though occasionally, he bites our fingers softly while we are bathing him. He gives us much pleasure every day.
