P.J Funnybunny--Camps Out

P.J. Funnybunny had three best friends.
One day, P.J. said, “Let’s go camping[kæmp]野营.”
P.J. packed捆扎;包装 a tent.
Ritchie packed four sleeping bags.
Buzz packed a flashlight ['flæʃ,laɪt]手电筒.
And Potts packed the food.
“Can Donna Duck and I come, too?” asked P.J.’s little sister, Honey Bunny.
“No,” said P.J. “Camping is not for girls.”
Then P.J. and his friends set out开始. They hiked[haɪk] 徒步旅行,远足 through the deep woods森林,树林.
They hiked across a wide river.
They even climbed a high mountain.
Ritchie was tired. He let go of his wagon让他的车走.
Bump. Bump. Bump. Bump.
Four sleeping bags bounced down the mountain.
Splash. Splash. Splash.
Three sleeping bags floated down the river.
“Camping is hard work,” they all said.
“Camping is not for girls.”
“Let’s camp here,” said P.J.
They all pitched搭(帐篷);扎(营) the tent.
“I’m hungry, ”said Buzz.
“I’m hungry, ”said Ritchie.
“I’m hungry, too,” said P.J.
Potts was not hungry. He had eaten all the food.
Soon it got dark.
P.J. told a ghost [gost]鬼,幽灵story.
It was such a good ghost story that P.J. even scared himself!
“It’s a good thing the girls aren’t there,” he said.
Then they heard a noise. “Booooooooooo…”
It sounded like a ghost!
P.J. and his friends looked out of the tent.
Buzz shined his flashlight over by the rocks.
He shined it over by the trees.
He shined [ʃaɪn]把...的光投向,把...照向it over by two ghosts standing…
GHOSTS!
P.J. and his friends jumped up so fast, they knocked down撞倒their tent.
The flashlight rolled away.
P.J. and his friends ran down the high mountain.
They splashed用...使液体飞溅;溅泼着行(路).
They ran through the deep woods.
They ran all the way to P.J.’s house都跑到P.J .的房子.
“P.J. Funnybunny!” said his mother. “What happened?
“Our tent fell down!” said P.J.
“Our sleeping bags floated down the river!” said Ritchie.
“My flashlight got lost!” said Buzz.
“We ran out of food,” said Potts.
But Honey Bunny and Donna knew the truth.

(注:从上个月开始,我把从皮卡书屋借来的英文小故事每篇全文打出来,预习查单词,保存归档,晚上讲给小屁孩儿听,个人感觉这个办法一举多得,自己的单词量有明显增加,而且与故事情节相连接,印象深刻;小屁孩儿被我的学习精神所打动,每次都会认真听,尽管我的翻译能力还有待提高;书还回去了,但故事保留了下来,以后还可以供小屁孩儿提高英语阅读水平,比市面上的教辅类有意思得多......现在开始放到博客上,既是记录也是分享......)
