Guns for trouble ? no ways! Guns keep people safe from enemies and provide them with a way to get food . but there is no double managing guns is a difficult issue  How do we keep them out of the hands of criminals? And , what about irresponsible gun use ?

  It takes confronting situations with guns to know how we truly feel about them . facing an armed robber might make us wish that guns do not exist. Or we might wonder why societies allow people to have them .it might make us wish we have a gun to protect ourselves. but if everyone had a gun , gun use would be out of control. The consequences are hard to know.

       Guns for trouble ? includes stories of gun use for us to consider as we weigh this sensitive issue.

M: before the robbery , causes of gun violence were only statistics to me , numbers that I would read in the newspaper. But now things will never be the same.

W: what do you remember ?

M: I remember everything that I would like to forget . most of all , I remember the shots . bang ! the sound of first bullet being fired rang in my ears. I turned and saw a victim  collapse. She grasped her chest .and then , in a moment , she was still.

W: you just stood there ?

M: I was so scared ; it was like I was frozen.

W: why did they do it ?

M: the robbers ? they wanted money , of course . but I blamed society for allowing people to have guns.

W: I do not think I would like it much if I was told I could not have a gun. Having a gun makes me feel safer .

Millions of people live in fear of gun violence , and many of them think guns should be destroyed . I understand what they feel , but I do not share their opinion . since I have owed guns entire my life , my thoughts on this issue are different .

         The reality of the situation is that guns do not kill people . people kill people . so we should think less about the problems of guns , and think more about the problems of people . we should think about joblessness and poor education , which are at the foundation of the issue . and we should act to reduce these problems by promoting better schools .

      Education shows us how to rise about violence , teaching us how to be responsible and how to supply ourselves by our work . more people should learn these important lessons , and then we can reduce gun violence in society .

My brother was a school principle at a school in a western state。He told me that a female student had been reported for bragging that she kept a loaded gun in her school locker。This girl was only 14 years old。As the principle ，my brother made a decision to cut the bolt on the girl’s locker to see if there really a gun in there。To his surprise，there was a loaded gun 。the girl was immediately suspended from school。

     However ，the girl’s father was extremely angry with the principle。He said that schools was dangerous and he felt that his daughter has every right to keep a gun in her locker to protect herself。He also claimed that the locker was her private property ，so the principle has no right to search it。

     The father cause so much trouble that the school board decided to meet over this issue。As to the question，“should a teenager be allowed to keep a loaded gun in her locker to protect herself ？ ” No。then，the school broad decide to support the principle‘s decision to suspeng the girl。It was passed by a vote of four to three。However，to everyone’s surprise，the principle resigned ，because he could not accept the fact that almost half of the school board support gun ownership in school。

Suddenly, the door opened and a man walked in. he put a $20 bill on the counter and asked for change. Though, the clerk was unhappy, he opened the cash drawer. Suddenly, the man pushed out a gun and asked for all the cash in the register. The frighten clerk promptly gave him all the money. Te man took the cash from the clerk and ran away, leaving $20 bill on the counter. Recovered from the fright, the clerk quickly checked his loss. There had been only $15 in the cash drawer.
