弗朗茨-莱哈尔Lehar, Franz， 1870年生于科马罗姆；1948年卒于巴德伊希尔。奥匈帝国作曲家。应德沃夏克之劝而专学作曲。在埃尔伯费尔德歌剧院乐队任小提琴手，后出任其父的乐队指挥。

1902年在维也纳任维也纳剧院指挥；他的《维也纳女人》(Wiener Frauen)于1902年11月在该剧院上演成功后，定居维也纳，专心作曲。第二部轻歌剧《风流寡妇》（Die lustige Witwe；英，The Merry Widow）不仅在1905年维也纳首演时盛况空前，而且从此风行世界。他是圆舞曲之王施特劳斯一家和采勒以及较晚的奥斯卡-施特劳斯、福尔加卡尔曼中间的桥梁。20世纪20年代理查-陶伯令人难忘的嗓音和莱哈尔笔下的角色结合，特别是《微笑的大地》（Das Land des Lachelns；英，The Land of Smiles）（系1923年所作的《黄色茄克》的修订本）（1929）中的角色和谐的联系在一起。 
 
 

《微笑的大地》是雷哈尔的三幕轻歌剧，雷哈尔在音乐创作上曾受到德沃夏克鼓励。其作品以轻歌剧著称，一生作有30余部轻歌剧，其中以《风流寡妇》最为著名。雷哈尔是19世纪末20世纪初享誉国际乐坛的著名作曲家，他的一生曾创作了数量众多的轻歌剧，其中至今仍盛演不衰的有《风流寡妇》、《吉卜赛人的爱情》、《朱迪塔》和《微笑的大地》等。轻歌剧是一种轻松愉快的表演样式，无论是音乐、歌唱，还是情节，都能很容易地赢得观众的共鸣，是如今盛行的音乐剧的前身。 

这是2CD的专辑，有《风流寡妇》和《微笑的大地》，都是施瓦茨科普夫演唱，《风流寡妇》我前面已经发过，这里就只发《微笑的大地》，有1CD多些，就合并在这里一起发了。《微笑的大地》剧情介绍找不到，有谁提供，不胜感激。
