先更新日木合相位的，实际上现代占星对于日木合相位的解释很烂，根本没有区别日木在同星座合相的差异，这种差异有很多种，先举三个明显的：1、是否处于燃烧状态 2、是oriental,还是occidental 3、日夜生的差异

多罗修斯一开始就指出了太阳燃烧木星，会严重削弱木星带来的自然征象（如财富等），不过随后又说明了如果东出，那么将带来良好效用，这是因为木星东出，将远离太阳的燃烧状态。

至于其他作者的解释基本大同小异。
