白羊座

The Aries boss is always in a hurry and hands out important work at the very last minute. Fortunately, the ram loves people, is very understanding and has the patience of a saint, so is mostly good to work with.

Aries are great in social jobs, always managing to find the right words to say at the right time.

Aries can see through false flattery or praise – betray them and you may as well leave immediately. The Aries sense of humour is one of the things that makes them so popular.

They can laugh publicly at their own mistakes and have even been known to help out colleagues by taking their blame for things that haven't been done. If they like their job, they will stay all night, if necessary – but forget it, if they don't!

The Taurus boss will be a sergeant-major one day and a buddy the next. Their moods can change in seconds.

Bulls command respect, but things have to be their way! It isn't very easy to work for Taurus, but the bull does make it worth your while in the end. Christmas bonuses are nearly always a sure thing. Taureans are ambitious and expect the same from those around them.

This is a sign that makes life fun if you work with them, and unpredictable if you work for them. They will take you to great places and always provide a shoulder for you to cry on when the going gets tough.

Geminis need to be able to talk as often and as freely as they want to. Probably the best job in the world for Gemini would be a gossip columnist!

A Gemini would rather supervise than do the grafting, thus they are usually at the top of their professions. Gemini bosses can charm their staff into working overtime without pay.

If charm doesn't work, they manage to elicit sympathy instead. They want all their staff to think them indispensable – however, staff don't necessarily play along! And the typical Gemini flirts as if there's no tomorrow.

The crab's home life is more important than work. If your Cancerian boss looks serious about something, it's less likely to be about your sloppy work than about little Thando's cold.

At work, untidiness and smoking will bother them. (They may smoke, but you can't!) Cancer people are hard-working, good organisers and know what they want.

Personal cleanliness and grooming are very important to them. These bosses give the staff security, friendship and discipline, and rarely fail to get loyalty in return, although they are hard task-masters.

Mixing business with pleasure isn't a Cancer policy, as a rule. Cancer people tend to spoil their staff with kindness, but when they say "jump", their staff are expected to do so.

When it comes to the crunch, however, there's only one person who can do that important job – and that's the crab! This could be undermining, so be aware of it. On a good note, the crab is artistic and always knows the best words to use.
