TOMTOM6 for Palm xxx

This is tested on Tungsten T3 and it works.

(a) Please copy the 5 attachments to your desktop and unrar it.

(b) Copy all the files including the directory to your Storage Card. Please remain the same structure.

When you plug in your SD card to your device. Tomtom 6 will auto start.

However, in order for you to use maps (rev6.5x), you will need to use the Key generator for the activation code.

Here are the instructions:
1) unzip the keygen.zip to the directory that contains your map data.
(This directory MUST have "map_name.mid" file, as in the map that you are going to register).
2) Open the windows command prompt and cd into the directory.
3) Execute the EXE file as shown below:TM6_kg_4_C4PDA.exe your_map.mid
4) It will ask you for your device ID, put that in and it will give you the unlock code

TIPS #1: You can get your device ID when you try to use the MAPs.

有些palm机器可能会提示内存不足，请重启你的palm手持设备后在使用tomtom

安装步骤:
1.解压附件
2.复制整个完全解压后的文件到SD卡根目录(有十几个内容,外头不能在有文件夹了,不然无法识别)

3.此时插入SD卡到PALM,可以自动运行了,但为了以后避免反复拔插SD卡,建议将完全解压文件夹中的PALM
子文件夹中的两个PALM安装文件同步到PALM,以后使用PALM应用程序中就有TOMTOM了
4.打开TOMTOM6后,一路按提示操作,到激活地图的步骤(文件包中带了试用地图GUAM),选择手动激活,之后
获得你PALM的机器码,一共10位,中间空格分开,大写字母和数字的混合,记录此机器码,注册时用.
5.注册地图,将原文件夹中的KEYGEN压缩包解压到pc同一目录下(解压文件最好有文件夹包裹,就叫keygen,
其实拷在哪个盘都一样,只是为了操作方便)
6.复制TT6文件夹中GUAM子文件夹中guam.mid文件到解压的KEYGEN目录,开始算号
7.算号是纯PC操作,开始菜单,运行cmd,打开dos操作界面,键入CD\回车,进入C盘根目录,键如CD keygen回车,
进入keygen文件夹,键入完整的注册机文件名,包括扩展名,大小写一致,空格,键入mid文件文件名,包括扩展名
,大小写一致,输入完毕回车,要求输入设备码,键入,注意10位机器码中间有空格,回车完成,地图XXX出现
15位,两次空格,大写字母数字混合.

8.再次在PALM上运行TOMTOM6,到手动激活地图时,输入刚才算出的XXX,好了完成,可以使用TOMTOM6了.
9.试用地图没用,请自行下载需要的地图,安装,注册步骤与注册GUAM地图完全一样
10.TOMTOM的配色方案,声音等与PPC版的通用,下载复制就行了。
11.配色方案直接解压到TT6 SCHEMES文件夹
9.语音文件直接解压到TT6 VOICE 文件夹
11.常见问题解决方案:
    问题提示:Not enough free DB Cache Memory to run this application
    解决方案:重新启动palm设备释放内存

 

 

目前还没有中国大陆地图，不过现在tomtom自有品牌的GPS已经内置了中国大陆地图

所以其他平台的只是时间问题了
