随着2010年即将结束之际，我要从心底感谢您，并代表那些接受过您的资助而改善了生活的人们感谢您。您的资助是通过我的基金会来完成的。 

我们在世界各国为无数的生命创造了一个可以衡量的、有意义的、可持续的效果：

• 超过10,000秘鲁人民接受了白内障手术。

• 在马拉维的再造森林项目种植190万棵树。

• 在美国的大约10000所学校为学生和教师们创造了一个健康的环境，有效地抗御了儿童肥胖。

• 卢旺达和马拉维的农民正在提高其农作物产量和收入。

• 在拉丁美洲实施的使公共交通节能的新方案，抗御了全球变暖。

     As 2010 draws to a close, I'd like to thank you from the bottom of my heart and on behalf of all the people whose lives you've improved through your support of my Foundation.

     We are making a measurable, meaningful, and sustainable impact in countless lives and communities around the world:

• More than 10,000 people in Peru have received critical cataract surgeries.
• 1.9 million trees have been planted through reforestation projects in Malawi.
• Nearly 10,000 schools in the United States are now creating a healthier environment for students and teachers in the effort to combat childhood obesity.
• Farmers in Rwanda and Malawi are increasing their crop yields and income.
• New programs are combating global warming in Latin America by helping to make public transportation more energy efficient.
• We have helped provide nearly $27.5 million worth of critical relief and humanitarian assistance to Haiti.

Together we are building a world where every person can feel a genuine sense of belonging, every child can enjoy equal opportunity, and our common humanity matters more than our differences.

     I can't wait to see what we will accomplish in 2011 and beyond.
