Writing
about food in English is not an easy job.I always have difficulties
finding the names for the vegetables and even the names of the
dishes.
As in this
case, how to give the title for the dish? In order to find a
suitable name for it, I watched a program about food in Beijing,
but unfortuately nothing was mentioned about it. And I either can't
find any ready names for it. Aftering searching the origin in
Chinese, I decide to use this title -- Fried Rectangular Bag or
Turning Back. Of course foreigners still can not understad it,you
need do some explanation.
My
Rectangular Bags were not made according to the tradition. I
skipped the step and totally used the spring roll sheet my
classmate gave me to save the time and energy.
Perhaps I
can say the filling is traditional.I used lamb and carrot mainly to
make the filling.
I folded
each sheet into a rectangular bag.
The sheet is so thin like
paper that it is difficult to fry.I failed 2 times and then made
the perfect ending.
That was
the last trial.Well done.
It is very
very delicious.I am not an expert and it was my first trial. Mine
is not worse than that at the restaurant. I bet.My son enjoyed it
very much.
